Harman’s area of expertise covers a variety of areas including personal injury/motor vehicle accidents, contract disputes, shareholder & partnership disputes, commercial leases, construction litigation and builders’ liens, loan recovery, real estate litigation, business law litigation, estate litigation, employment disputes, franchises, intellectual property disputes, and insurance coverage claims.
Harman has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and represented clients appearing before various administrative boards and tribunals, including the Trademarks Opposition Board, Alberta Environmental Appeals Board, Calgary Real Estate Board, and Complaints Inquiry Committee of the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta.
Harman is active in the community, volunteering his time to organizations such as Immigrant Services Calgary, Pro Bono Law Alberta, and Student Legal Services at the University of Calgary. He is also a past Board Member of the Calgary Youth Justice Society and the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council.
Atif Hasan is an associate whose practice encompasses Civil Litigation, Personal Injury and Criminal Defence.
In Litigation, he has represented clients in matters dealing with debt recovery, business, builders liens, condominium disputes, employment and insurance related claims. In Personal Injury, he has successfully obtained settlements in cases relating to motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls. Atif is also well-versed in Criminal Law, handling offences such as DUI’s, assault, domestic violence, break and enter, fraud, and other criminal offences. He has negotiated numerous early withdrawals of charges, saving clients the expense and emotional toll of a trial.
He has represented clients at all levels of court including The Provincial Court of Alberta and The Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta. Atif has represented clients in trials, applications, pre-trial conferences, mediations, settlement conferences, and case management meetings.
Atif is passionate about working with people to protect their rights and fight for the best possible outcome.
Manbir Sidhu was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He earned his law degree from the City, University of London Law School in England and later obtained his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. In 2024, Manbir began his articles with Harman Toor and has gained experience in personal injury and motor vehicle accident claims, wills and estates, employment disputes, and business and contract matters. He looks forward to joining the Law Society of Alberta Bar in 2026 and continuing to serve his community with professionalism and dedication.
Lorena Flores has over a decade of legal experience and plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the firm. Known for her efficiency, organization, and attention to detail, she supports both clients and counsel by ensuring files, processes, and office operations run smoothly. In addition to her operational responsibilities, Lorena works closely with clients throughout the litigation process, approaching each matter with empathy and professionalism to ensure clients feel supported at every stage.
Outside the office, Lorena enjoys playing piano and has a lifelong love of music. She formerly competed in chess at a professional level and continues to enjoy the focus and strategy it inspires. Lorena is also multilingual, speaking Albanian and Greek.
Aya was born in Lebanon and moved to Canada Calgary in 2006. She is a mother to two beautiful children that she’s raising with her husband. She loves travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends. Aya embraces our core value of empathy by striving to always take the extra step for her teammates and our clients. Aya also strives to help her clients feel heard and validated.
